Jets fell 0-1 to unbeaten league leaders Berkhamsted on Tuesday and they ran them so close. They will wonder if they might have pulled off a good point or more had they not made so many changes to the side.
Jets went down to a deflected OG although we note that Berko credited the goal to a player. There was no doubting the visitors had the territorial advantage but it was a gutsy jets performance that really dug in and never gave up or made it easy for the visitors.
Jets best chance fell to Nick Kerley in the first half that so nearly equalised for jets in a superb four-man move that was struck well and was deflected off target by inches. Jets have injury worries but hope some of the missing seven might be back for the long FA Vase trip to Norwich on Saturday.
