New Salamis scored a double figure win over a makeshift Jets side as Jets struggle through this period without a manager and several first team players.
Due to the wholesale changes Jets had to make it would be unfair to put a detailed report up on the loss, when the team put together, including several young players, was inevitably outclassed by one of the stronger sides in the league.
We are grateful to the commitment shown by players willing to turn out in such an adverse situation, including the young players who came in knowing they were stepping up to a level beyond their experience.
It is a fixture fulfilled. We take the loss on the chin, and we continue to progress our plans to come through this mess that we find ourselves in. Our next competitive fixture is on the 25th so we have 11 days from this game to work to make a lot of progress in our rebuild.
