Jets were outplayed in the first half and Wormley took a deserved lead in the 25th minute which they held to half-time.
They doubled their lead early in the second half and Jets look dead and buried.
Jets substitutions though seemed to revitalise the team and Owen Ayres pulled one back in the 65th minute, moments after Wormley had missed a sitter to totally seal the game.
Jets were now totally going for it and Andre Lopes thought he had equalised with a smart finish past the keeper but Lewis Putman was ruled offside and deemed to be interfering with play.
It was Andre Lopes though, a few minutes later, who did get the important equaliser in the 78th minute driving home his shot from the edge of the area.
This led to a frantic finish and, if Andre Lopes already thought he had tied up the goal of the season, think again! With his first goal for the club Avto let loose a scorcher in the 86th minute that rocketed into the net leaving the keeper no chance.
What a turnaround. Dave Barnes described Wormley as the best team we have played this season, so Jets were delighted to be able to get the win.
Andre Lopes was deservedly the Carlsberg Jets Man of the Match.
