Frustrated Jets Don’t Take Their Chances
Chalfont St Peter 2 Oxhey Jets 1
Combined Counties Premier North

Jets have managed to turn a hole into a mountain with a disappointing loss that the staff told the squad was the end of the road after giving the squad time and a chance to impress.
Your own club website is no place to hang your own players out, so would suffice to say four one on one chances missed and a rare slip by a reliable player was to see Jets fall to a dreadful defeat.
Bullet points highs and lows were the excellent forms of maturing sixteen-year-olds as Archie James put on a superb first 45 and scored his first senior goal, and another sixteen-year-old Henry Dudley stepped in as a centre half to cover a suspension and did not put a foot wrong to get the Jets man of the match award.
The blows were a superb goal being disallowed for Sam Wood, bitterly disappointed not to open his account with the club, but he did superbly to set Archie up for his goal.
A major blow was the loss of midfielder Tom Kennard with a very bloody foot injury caused by studs.
The future weeks will see the new staff putting their own chosen stamp and squad together to start the mountain climb, we hope !!!
Jets Man of the Match was Henry Dudley, stepping in superbly at centre half.
