I am sorry to announce some very very sad news that I have today heard of the sudden death of a former Jets youth player Neil Cooper in a goodwill trip to India to support young children. Neil played for Jets in his youth in 1972 and serious injury ended his football but from that day till now he never lost touch.
Neil supported generously the Jets and helped me often when in trouble financially with things for the club. Jets matches were sponsored and he was planning to do a game in memory of Garry Beadle for me.
His fantastic work was for the charitable trust where he fund raised money to educate young children. We ourselves paid the schooling for Ruthran (in the photos below) for Neil to bond a Jets commitment to his project and the village.
2019 has been a personally dreadful year and this sadness further deepens that feeling for me personally. Bellow are two photos posted by Neils wife Kate who he adored and always spoke of so lovingly.
