Congratulations to Lewis Lavin, Our Adrian Flux Insurance April Player of the Month.
In a demanding April schedule of 9 games, including 7 in just 17 days, the young Jets team were at full stretch. With a high level of all-around commitment, there were 9 different Jets Man of the Match winners, so there were plenty of candidates for Player of the Month.
The standout, though, was goalkeeper Lewis Lavin. Importantly ever-present, Lewis added to his Man of the Match performance at Broadfields with constant mentions of good saves on both Jets and opposition web pages and Twitter, notably in Jets wins at Windsor and Holyport and the draw against North Greenford.
Both Sean Giordmaina and Remell Stirling had notable months, both with 3 goals – and Sean also received the Man of the Match in the Egham game – but neither was ever present and so fill the Runners-up places.
Man of the Match awards also went to Tommy Kennard, Jack James, Archie James, David Levy, Warren Gladdy, Ben Delicata and Jordan Okwar which only goes to emphasise the commitment that was shown throughout the team.
