Jets eased to three valuable points on the road at Spelthorne, climbing above today’s hosts in the table.

Tyn Supernak is tripped in the area.
It was the home side applying the early pressure, but the Jets back line were excellent in holding firm. Gradually the tide turned, with Jets pushing the hosts back, and the breakthrough came when Tym Supernak was felled while charging into the box. Dom Mosca stepped up and confidently converted the penalty (0-1, 31 mins).

Dom Mosca scores from the penalty spot. 1-0 Jets.
The hosts pushed back at Jets, but their defensive hold was faultless, and the score stayed the same at the break.

Paulie Portes Schuster (No. 10) lets fly into the top corner, and the keeper can only watch.
In the second half, we just hoped that the recent problem of failing to tuck chances away would end, and it did with utter class as Paulie Schuster curled an unstoppable shot that the defenders and keeper could only stand and watch as it dipped into the top corner (0-2, 59 mins).
Jets were buoyant and looked in full control, but a superb individual goal from Jon Lloyd swung the game back in the hosts’ favour (1-2, 68 mins).
Now it was Jets digging in again, and young Austin Ayres, in goal today, was equal to everything thrown at him.
Jets looked to have seen the game out, but there was still a bit of magic left when substitute Jason Evans came off the bench for his debut and smashed home from wide out near the corner flag to clinch the win (1-3, 90+7 mins).

Jets’ Carlsberg Man of the Match went to Oliver Grieves for a dominant centre-half display against a very good and strong opponent.
