Jets had to fight back from behind three times to earn a point at home to Molesey, but extended their unbeaten run to six at a hot Boundary Stadium.
Sean McDonnell slotted home to give the visitors an early lead. 0-1 (3 mins)
What a curler from Paulie to level at 1-1.
For ten minutes, on the now dry-again bobbly pitch, Jets were chasing shadows, but slowly clawed their way back into the game. The equaliser, when it came, was a stunner from Paulie Schuster, curling a free kick into the top corner. 1-1 (19 mins)

Now Jets were in the pot and going for broke, being denied first by a good save and then a goal-line clearance. Minutes later they were denied by the crossbar, both times with the keeper beaten.
Jets were lucky to survive a moment of complete madness when four players ran to the bench for a drink and some advice during a short stoppage. The visitors sensed the chance, took a quick throw and, with the defence in disarray, the ball was scrambled out for a corner. Total unawareness by the Jets players!!
From the corner, with Jets still sorting themselves out, Dan Watts gave Molesey the lead. 1-2 (26 mins), and that’s how it stayed at the break.
Jets hit the crossbar.
It was competitive but scrappy, in honesty, but the substitutions swung it back in Jets’ favour. Oncoming Alexander More was put clear and beat the keeper, but again the post denied Jets.

This time More kept running and, from a tight angle, slotted home excellently to level the match. 2-2 (63 mins)
It lasted just ten minutes, and Jets were furious when the offside flag stayed down as Jordon Mbola gave the visitors the lead for the third time. 2-3 (73 mins)
Again Jets battled back, but again the post had other ideas.
Dom Mosca level at 3-3
Then it happened. A peach of a run by Danny Fowler and his cross was met by Dom Mosca — but wait! As Jets celebrated, with the referee looking totally confused and the assistant glued to the spot in a trance, nothing was given!!
It took a long while for the officials to confirm it, but it was 3-3
Finally, the referee went over to the assistant and, after what seemed an age of discussion, the goal was rightly given — as the photos confirmed!! 3-3 (84 mins)
Molesey pushed again, and after the long stoppage time I’m sure both sides ended up happy with a point, but thinking it should have been three!!
In total honesty, Jets looked leggy and the passing at times was poor. The last three games have not been good — BUT seven points from the nine.
Man of the Match went to the busy bee, the industrious Simon Poulton. Austin Ayres went close, making 4 or 5 excellent saves.
At last, a midweek off — and boy do the lads deserve a break from the Combined Counties’ ridiculous determination to play half the season in the first two months!!
