Jets stormed to their biggest Premier division win with a 6-0 home win over Biggleswade United at a rain swept Boundary Stadium.
Jets, without Beardsworth, Bellotti, Arthur and O'Mara should have been struggling in the attacking options, but it took them just two minutes to get off the mark when man of the Match LEE INCH weaved and turned the defenders before blasting home.
KARL BULL, in a rare start, was on hand to tap number two off the post and then WAYNE GLADDY rounded the keeper on another run to make it 3-0 and Jets were firmly in control.
Jets were sweeping forward with intimate football that was to grace a superb pitch. ANDREW LOMAS also outstanding in the midfield got his reward when the keeper did not hold his effort and it made it over the line (JUST !!). HT Jets 4-0 up and the game was in total control.
The second half was sterile compared to the first as Jets eased off and United were beaten, but LEE INCH headed home for 5-0 and in stoppage time STEVE BROWN went from ball boy to scorer with Jets sixth.
Special praise was given to the three match officials who demonstrated that sensible officials can make it a pleasant day all around, and all three were outstanding in their attitudes and in the manner that they controlled the game.
