Jets young side dipped their colours 7 - 5 after a fantastic fightback against Tokyngton Manor.
Jets, a goal down in the first minute, quickly fell 4-0 behind and a thrashing looked ominous.
But then, three goals in a four minute spell, one by CALLUM HEATH and a brace by LEO PASCOULIS, pulled Jets back to 3-4 at the break.
Jets immediately took the game to Manor and levelled at 4-4 through JACK KEEBLE.
A spectacular strike from LEWIS COOK in the 56th minute edged Jets into the lead and a tremendous result looked possible.
Jets then, however, seemed content and paid a heavy price allowing Manor to score three times in fifteen minutes to win the match 7-5.
There is definitely promise in this young Jets side, and their ability to get back into the game after an ugly start bodes well for the future.
